Alexandria Bathroom Remodeling
This master bathroom design and remodel called for doing what was modestly possible to create an open and contemporary space in this recently purchased single family home in Alexandria. Removing the wall separating a small toilet and shower room from the dressing area, combine for more appropriate dimensions. A half-wall remains for toilet privacy, white painted wood capping ties together the countertop, toilet and acrylic shower floor. Neutral tones selected by the homeowner are accented with modern suspended vanity cabinets, a large framed wall mirror and vessel sink. Polished chrome towel warmers and a minimalist semi-frameless shower door finish this bath.
Fairfax Bathroom Remodeling
This project was a design and remodel of a spacious master bathroom for a single family home in Oakton, Virginia. The existing plan was under-apportioned with a single vanity, small shower area, and awkward tub deck. A second vanity was added, the shower footprint expanded, and tub deck reconfigured. Combining contemporary lighting, faucets and cabinetry and traditional white carrera marble, accented with wall and floor inlays, accomplished the transitional design and the look sought by the homeowners. The tray ceiling, frameless shower door and tub deck expanse all lend to the look of this spa-like escape.
